Share Your Thoughts on Street Fighter V’s Latest Beta Test with Capcom
With Street Fighter V’s first worldwide beta test completed (wel, the first successful one anyways), Capcom is looking for feedback from the community about your experiences.
The questions deal with numerous topics, including overall impressions of the beta, which characters were the weakest and strongest of the current roster, any bugs that were encountered, and more.
“Much like how playing matches in the beta provided us with excellent information regarding our servers and netcode,” associate producer Peter “Combofiend” Rosas explains, “this survey will provide us with important feedback towards the characters and battle system.”

ARK: Survival Evolved: The Hunger Games Goes Prehistoric
ARK: Survival Evolved is one of the few survival games I can get behind. I think it’s because the game ditched the zombie thing, which let’s face it, is a bit overdone. Zombies have invaded pop culture to the point of over saturation being on TV, movies, books, games, and occasionally real life if you feel like visiting a state that has "legalized it". ARK was right to go with dinosaurs, because it has been a smash hit.
Ryan Hart: “I think [Street Fighter V’s] got enough variety to really surpass Street Fighter IV over time.”
A few days ago, Ryan “Prodigal Son” Hart returned to his native United Kingdom to visit the latest WinnerStaysOn Session and get his hands on Street Fighter V for the first time. Due to his focus on preparing for Capcom Cup in December, the longtime competitor had absolutely zero experience with the upcoming title, and was able to sit down with it for an hour or so and see what it’s all about. Afterwards, he picked up a headset to share his thoughts.
“I think it’s got enough variety to really surpass Street Fighter IV over time,” Hart shared. “I think that’s gonna take some time though.”
In this build, Hart believes both M. Bison and Ken are looking very strong, but had some difficulty getting in on Vega as Necalli, though he did admit that it was probably due to a lack of knowledge more than anything else.
“I heard a lot of things about the speed: people didn’t like the tempo, it was too slow,” he continued. “I think that with how the moves work–frame advantage and disadvantage, block stun, things like that–you kind of don’t want it to be too all-over-the-place. At this speed, it’s a stable game.” Despite being a high-level competitor, Hart believes that keeping Street Fighter V at the pace it is now will help players without crazy reaction speeds enjoy the title while also appealing to folks who come from faster, classic games.
