Celldweller Discusses the Creation of Rash’s Killer Instinct Theme

Apart from an additional helping of characters, one of the biggest changes coming to Killer Instinct in its third season is the fact composer Mick Gordon will no longer be contributing to the game’s character themes. In his place, Atlas Plug and Celldweller would be collaborating to fill in Mick’s shoes.

In this new episode of his Recording Cessions, Celldweller talks abit about working on Killer Instinct, specifically with regards to the its first guest character, Rash from Battletoads. Highlights include incorporating 8-bit sounds by way of an Elektron SidStation, which uses a Commodore 64 sound chip to create that great retro feel.
