Learn How to Properly Burst Sol’s Grand Viper in Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-

While Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- features a burst system that allows players to break out of combos, there are some moves that are difficult to escape properly. One such move is Sol Badguy’s Grand Viper, which forms the basis of VR-Raiden’s latest tutorial.

In the video below, VR-Raiden shows how a player can burst Sol’s Grand Viper at just the right moment to cause most of the move to whiff, and then put Sol in an unsafe situation. The guide also takes time to explain that Sol can fight back against this by using a Roman Cancel to keep himself safe or, on the more complex side of things, by implementing a jump install for a chance to punish the burst.

Persona Revisits Ralf Jones in Latest King of Fighters XIII Combo Video

With a new entry to the King of Fighters series on the horizon, Persona has redoubled their efforts to push out the completed, final versions of their always impressive King of Fighters XIII combo videos. In many cases, the original entries for featured characters brought about combos insane enough to stand for years to come, but that hasn’t stopped the mastermind from going back and making some adjustments where (not entirely) necessary to squeeze out every bit of damage possible.

Their most recent offering stars Ikari Warriors and Metal Slug vet Ralf Jones. Persona opens with a three-hit kill against Duo Lon, reminding viewers that there’s good reason Ralf has come to be known as The One-Man Army. The combos that come after follow the same sort of formula, trading plenty of Ralf’s meter for plenty of health on the part of his opponents.

This combo video comes complete with a change log from the original upload, as well as an input transcript, both of which can be found in the description.
