HTC Vive: Not in Kansas Anymore

In between appointments with indie game developers at PAX Prime this year I was able to slip in and experience the HTC Vive. If this is the first you are hearing of the Vive it is HTC’s entry into the virtual reality space in collaboration with Valve (you know, those people behind Steam). I’ve used the first two versions of the Oculus Rift so I had a general idea of what to expect. However what I experienced was leaps and bounds ahead of what I have experienced in previous years.

Kill! Kill! Kill! Dispose of Opponents with This M.O.D.O.K. Touch of Death Combo in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3

There’s rarely a shortage of new M.O.D.O.K. material to help those who main the biggest head in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 keep their opponents at bay. Thanks to this combo option from Punisher, purveyors of the Jamming Bomb can now put down all who oppose them by landing a single throw.

The combo does burn three bars and also gets a couple of assist characters involved–Hawkeye and Rocket Raccoon in the example below–but being able to confirm a kill off this sort of situation without having to burn X-Factor to do so is certainly worth picking up.

Ah, the Joy of Blowing Up Large Ships On Screen

Wargaming.net has created a fantastic presence in the online space with its historical combat games. World of Tanks burst onto the scene and rose to power as one of the best battle arena games created in years. It stayed true to history and quickly gained the respect of millions of players. World of Warplanes had a tougher time of it. The key to these games is having maps which give players a chance to compete, not too many obstacles in the open air.
