Elder Scrolls Online: Zenimax Listens to Its Community Once Again

Zenimax Listens to Its Community Once Again

Once again Zenimax listens to the community. If you remember a couple weeks ago I wrote an article discussing some of my displeasures with Imperial City, mostly the fact that Imperial City is always open (unless your campaign is full) and all three factions would have access to it. Well as it turns out I wasn’t the only one who felt this way and Zenimax has heard our pleas and created a campaign with locked gates. However, is it too late for this to make a difference?

Dragon Age: Inquisition: Mike Laidlaw on Trespasser & (Possible) Future Plans

Mike Laidlaw on Trespasser & (Possible) Future Plans

With the release of the Dragon Age: Inquisition DLC, Trespasser, a couple of weeks ago and the announcement of the definitive Game of the Year Edition earlier this week, it is clear that DA:I is a finished product. We had the opportunity to talk with Dragon Age Lead Designer Mike Laidlaw about Trespasser, the (possible) future of the franchise and more. See what he had to say in our exclusive interview.

Street Fighter V’s Next Beta Session to Feature Cross-Platform Play

While we still don’t know when it will all go down, Capcom has released some other information concerning Street Fighter V’s second beta phase.

As you may already know, players on PC will be able to get in on the action when the beta reopens sometime this fall, but they won’t be kept from the experienced PlayStation 4 users. According to Capcom’s Neidel “Haunts” Crisan, the next beta session is set to feature cross-play between the two platforms.

If you plan to take part in this upcoming testing phase, you’ll find minimum and recommended PC specifications over in the original Capcom-Unity post. Further details will be coming in the near future.

Street Fighter V is scheduled to launch on PlayStation 4 and PC sometime next spring.

Learn How to Pull Off Infinites on Incoming Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Characters

It’s only natural that players figure out ways to break apart aging games, performing with ease what was once thought as impossible. We see this sort of thing happen in fighters all the time, typically in the form of ridiculous combos, setups, or the like, but Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 players must be going for some kind of record because the onslaught of potentially game-changing discoveries to surface in recent weeks borders on alarming.

First we saw the Maluk shield change the way we think about team ordering, then we saw this strange interaction between tag-ins and screen spacing, and now Paulow3b and BE|Kane Blueriver have shared with us different methods for taking advantage of infinite properties on incoming characters.

For those out of the loop, keeping your character off the ground after eliminating someone with a TAC infinite carries the properties that make it possible over to when the second fighter enters the fray, allowing you to whittle them down the same way. This technique still requires that the first hit land before the victim makes a slow march toward an empty health bar, but as you’ll see below, it’ll be easy for anyone with a firm grasp on their infinite options to put this strategy to work when the stars align.

While not as new as more recent discoveries, very few players have taken the time to explore this technique’s applications. Even if you knew about this already, do yourself a favor and check out the video below for a more in-depth look at its properties.
