Pokkén Tournament Playable at Times Square Dave & Buster’s Next Week

Although Pokkén Tournament will be coming to Wii U, fans outside of Japan have to wait until 2016 to get their hands on this unique Pokémon fighter. Fortunately, folks in New York City will have an opportunity to check it out for themselves next week.

According to a recent tweet, the Dave & Buster’s location in Times Square are set to receive Pokkén Tournament cabinets and open them up for play next week. It’s likely they are venturing into the arena of location testing much like Round 1 did for Tekken 7, so let’s hope success in New York City means the title will travel across the country in the future.

A specific date wasn’t mentioned regarding when Pokkén Tournament will arrive in Times Square, so stay tuned for more information.

The Daily Dot Talks to NuckleDu During Latest Best of 3 Broadcast

One of the most exciting Ultra Street Fighter IV players in North America today is Team Liquid’s Du “NuckleDu” Dang. With his solid Guile and Decapre, Du has been one of the top American players to look out for in the Capcom Pro Tour.

The folks over at The Daily Dot recently sat down with Dang during the most recent episode of Best of 3. In the hour long interview, they go over a myriad of topics, including some strategies for specific matchups, the struggle of trying to make it as a professional gamer, his issues with fellow Guile player Kevin “Dieminion” Landon, and his life goal which, interestingly enough, is to be a social worker helping other people in need.

Additionally, they also go over some of Du’s matches from The Fall Classic, which recently took place in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he almost made it into the top eight before being stopped by the Evil Geniuses duo of Kenneth “K-Brad” Bradley and Ricki Ortiz.
