The Warcraft Movie – A Flop or the Future?

Movies made from video games are an extremely risky business. Games give the fan something a movie never can, the ability to play in that world. It hits on way more of your human senses than just sitting in a theater staring up at the big screen. As much as the past three major generations have grown up on movies, I think we are finally starting to see the first true generation who care more about interactive entertainment, than just viewing entertainment.

Get a Closer Look at Karin’s Moveset in Street Fighter V

As most of you already know, Capcom announced that Karin will be returning in Street Fighter V during a presentation at Tokyo Game Show. But before that took place, the folks over at 4Gamer were able to get a sneak preview at the development offices.

In the footage below, Capcom leads them through the key components of Karin’s moveset, including her expansive V-Trigger, Kanzuki-ryu Guren Kata, which gives her access to a buffed version of her Guren Ken rekka strings from her original appearance in Street Fighter Alpha 3.

While the video is in Japanese, there’s enough on screen that you can see certain properties of certain moves. These include things like her crouching strong punch linking into standing strong punch, her V-Trigger overheard comboing into crouching jab, her Tenko (quarter circle forward kick) juggling into her Critical Art, and more.

Additionally, ClackMan has isolated key moments from Capcom’s own broadcast late last night, highlighting Karin’s normals, spacing, overheads, empty jumps, and more.
