Check Out Capcom’s Top Ultra Street Fighter IV Moments from SoCal Regionals 2015

The Street Fighter V exhibition matches between top players like QANBA’s Xiao Hai and Dakou, EG|PR Balrog, and WFX|801 Strider, among others, captivated attendees of last weekend’s SoCal Regionals tournament. Even with such high-level competition in the forthcoming title, the current version of Street Fighter IV still brought about plenty of hype of its own, showing that, even though this game is on the way out, it’s still the source of some of the best competitive fighting out there.

As one might expect, the Ultra Street Fighter IV top eight included talent from all over the world. With so much to sort through, picking the best five moments from this chunk of competition is no easy task, but Capcom did a great job encapsulating the event with the moments featured below, which include some of the best Russian sky protection that we’ve seen in quite some time thanks to Red Bull’s Snake Eyez.

General: For the King Triples Funding Goal with a Week Yet to Go

IronOak Games has announced that it has not only met its initial funding goal, but has tripled it with over a week to go before the KickStarter initiative closes. To celebrate, the team has announced several new stretch goals that include a frozen realm, companion pets, special character skins and more.

General: Seven Knights Mobile RPG to Release October 15th

Netmarble has announced that its mobile RPG, Seven Knights, will be released to western audiences on Thursday, October 15th. The game will be released for both iOS and Android devices. It has been downloaded over seven million times in Korea making it one of the most commercially successful mobile RPGs.

Kickboxing: Glory 25 Lineup Finalized for Nov. 6 in Italy

Kickboxing organization Glory has finalized its next event, Glory 25, which will be headlined by a lightweight title fight between champion Robin van Roosmalen and Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong on Nov. 6 in Monza, Italy.

Guild Wars 2: The Mad King Returns for His Annual Celebration

The Guild Wars 2 team has announced that the annual Shadow of the Mad King event will be returning to Tyria on Friday, October 23rd. Players will be able to take part in a number of activities to score holiday swag, face off against ‘grisly monsters’ and much more.
