On the latest episode of their weekly show, Best of III, the folks at Daily Dot Esports had the pleasure of talking to one of the most well-known figures in the fighting game community, Twitch’s own Mike Ross. Although Mike’s one of those people who needs little introduction, they give him a bit of one anyway before getting down to business.

Throughout the interview, Mike talks about his early steps in content creation, which drew attention to the players playing the matches–rather than the matches themselves–to help drum up interest in the people behind the games. Through touching on this topic, he is able to point out that this is exactly the sort of thing that he’s trying to do with Twitch, and what he hopes the Capcom Pro Tour will do as well: cover new ground to help make the scene grow. Mike also discusses his Capcom Pro Talk show, tips for being a better Twitch streamer, Canada Cup 2015, and plenty more.

But Mike wasn’t the only guest on the show this week. James “Veloc1raptor” Guerrero drops by as well to discuss Ultra Street Fighter IV’s staying power in the tournament scene once Street Fighter V releases, a topic that we’ll certainly be hearing plenty more about in the coming months.
