While Arcade Stream’s monthly tournaments are perhaps best known for Ultra Street Fighter IV competition, they also feature tournaments for Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. Unlike areas like the United States or Japan, however, South Korea’s Smash scene is still in its infancy.

Many Smashers in Korea aren’t native to the country, but instead expatriates who brought their love for the series from their home nations. Due to the lack of an official Korean release, players have to import consoles from Japan in order to play, but the community has fortunately found a venue to grow in Arcade Stream.
