Learn More About Cloud’s Possible Abilities in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS

As some of you may have heard, Nintendo recently announced that Final Fantasy VII lead Cloud Strife will be coming to Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS. Now, with fan’s appetites whetted by the trailer, many are wondering just how Cloud will play.

Enter DireOnFire, who recently tried his hand at addressing this in his latest video. Below, he pores over trailer footage to break down all the bits of Cloud’s moveset they are able to suss out. While still speculation at this point, he does a great job of pointing out bits of footage that may have been lost in the excitement, so check it out and let us know what you think.

James Chen and UltraDavid Discuss Capcom Cup’s World Warriors in New Series

James Chen and David “UltraDavid” Graham recently teamed up with the folks at Capcom to create a series of videos dedicated to the upcoming Capcom Cup tournament. The hype surrounding this event is palpable; not only does it bring together thirty-two of the best Ultra Street Fighter IV players in the world for a shot at big payouts, it may also prove to be one of the game’s last major events thanks to Street Fighter V’s release early next year. This means that whoever walks away victorious stands to go down in history as the best Street Fighter IV player in the world while the game was still in its prime–quite a title to claim.

The series, World Warriors of Capcom Cup, kicked off earlier today with James and David discussing general information surrounding the tournament. Future episodes will break down the qualified players individually, with videos dedicated to their background, fighting styles, and plenty more.
