A group of intrepid The Secret World players have joined together in an effort to raise $10,000 for the Malala Fund, a humanitarian organization founded by Malala Yousafzai, the youngest Nobel Peace Prize winner in history. The project is being undertaken without any company or corporate sponsorship or endorsement and has worked via social media and events to raise nearly $7,000 already.

General: The Surprise Files: Pirate-Themed Tempest Launches on Steam

From the “we didn’t see that one coming” files, we’ve learned that a new pirate-themed RPG has launched on early access on Steam. Called “Tempest”, the game, according to developers, is focused on the best part of pirate life, namely sea battles. The game features ship customization from the color of the flag and sails, ship’s hull, figurehead and more. And what pirate ship would be complete without a bristling arsenal of cannons, flame throwers, and mortars, to name a few?

Humble Bundle Celebrates Neo Geo’s 25th Anniversary with Huge Deal on Classic SNK Fighters

While all the hype currently surrounds King of Fighters XIV’s release next year, Humble Bundle is celebrating the Neo Geo arcade hardware’s 25th anniversary with a great deal on a number of classic SNK fighters.

This promotion works like it always has: pay what you want for the base group, hit the average donation (currently $7.87) to increase the number of games you receive, or pay at least $10 to get even more. Bless: Back to the Drawing Board – Focus Test 2 Begins

After what seems to have been a dismal first round of focus group testing, Bless was delayed slightly to give the development team time to get things in better order. Confident that they are ready for another round, the Bless team has announced that a second focus group test is ongoing through December 20th.
