‘Cultivation’ Documents Snake Eyez’ Return to North America After Training in Japan
Training is all well and good, but it’s what you do with that additional practice time that determines whether or not it was all worth it. After spending a good chunk of his visit to Japan learning from the best that country has to offer, Red Bull’s Darryl “Snake Eyez” Lewis makes his way back to North America in the latest episode of Cultivation.
Nowhere is Lewis’ hard work more apparent than his match against QANBA’s Xiao Hai at SoCal Regionals 2015. With a pocket Evil Ryu now in his corner, the Zangief main is able to make fellow competitors think twice before counter-picking with Sagat. EVE Online: Operation Frostline Sets the Stage for the Citadel Expansion
EVE Online has been updated with Operation Frostline that will directly pave the way for the Spring 2016 expansion: Citadel. In addition to some new game play action thanks to the Mordu’s Legion, the update also includes thirteen new ships and graphical updates.
Upcoming Street Fighter V Beta Open to Both PlayStation 4 and PC
At the conclusion of this weekend’s Capcom Cup, it was announced that the Street Fighter V beta is scheduled to open up for a third time later this month, and new details have revealed that both PlayStation 4 and PC players will be able to get in on the action.
The latest Capcom-Unity posting from associate producer Peter “Combofiend” Rosas lays out a number of details for this upcoming testing phase, including the presence of ranked and casual matches, training, an expanded presence for the Capcom Fighters Network, and more. Additionally, those who already have access to the beta will be able to send out a limited number of invites to those who don’t, greatly expanding its reach and, hopefully, feedback from the community.
It should be noted that training mode was present in previous iterations but only as a waiting room for online matches. As such, we’re unsure if its mention in Rosas’ breakdown means players will be able to take advantage of extended practice sessions outside of netplay.
Street Fighter V’s next beta phase begins worldwide on December 18 and will last through December 20.
