General: It?s the End of the Year as We Know It, and I Feel Fine

I’m sitting here on Festivus writing my second to last column for the year and I would like to thank each of who visit the site. We couldn’t do what it is that we do around here without all of you readers out there stopping by and taking the time to read our reviews, musings, and predictions on games. I know time is limited and as I get older I realize just how precious of a commodity it is. So again, thank you.

General: Merry Christmas from MMORPG.com

Short and sweet, I just wanted to take a moment to wish you all a Merry Christmas from the staff here at MMORPG.com. Read on if you’re in a cheerful mood, and if you’re not, read on still. Maybe a little cheer from us to you will thaw that frozen heart of yours.

Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs-Force Heading West in 2016

For years, the Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs. series has offered up exciting two-on-two action that, while not technically fighting game related, incorporates many of the same competitive theories. Unfortunately, it’s never officially made its way outside of Japan, but that’s all set to change with the latest installment.

Bandai Namco Entertainment recently announced their plans to localize Mobile Suit Gundam Exteme Vs-Force for the western market. This PlayStation Vita spin-off features the same gameplay of its predecessors as well as additional modes focused on squad-based battles.

While the title is currently being eaten alive by Amazon Japan reviews, many of which cite its lack of online play and diminished roster as notable offenses, this release will mark the first time a game in the series has been released in North America and Europe, raising hopes that future titles will receive the same treatment.

Mobile suit Gundam Extreme Vs-Force is expected to land on western shores sometime next year.
