In a new post on the Final Fantasy XIV forum, Naoki Yoshida has responded to player feedback about the overall evolution of difficulty in several systems between Heavensward’s launch (v3.0) and the current patch (v3.15). As a result, patch v3.2 will address these issues by rebalancing difficulty both from a game and content perspective.

From now through January 5th, players will receive a number of neat gifts and be able to participate in 3x XP boosts and on December 25th a special 1-day 10x XP boost during a random 10 minute stretch each hour will kick off.
Gloria Victis: New Update Expands Valley of Death PvP Tournament
The latest update has been applied to Gloria Victis servers with additions and improvements to the recently released Valley of Death PvP Tournament. Most notably, NPCs will join the fight with the losing team in an effort to balance combat and core gameplay mechanics. Better synchronization of player positions is also a feature of the update.
Diablo 3: Season 5 Previewed – Ready to Roll in Mid-January
Seasonal play in Diablo III is undergoing some significant changes when it rolls out onto live servers on January 15, 2016. Among other things, Blizzard has removed Seasonal Legendaries completely in direct response to player-feedback. As a replacement, players will receive something called “Haedrig’s Gift”, a bundle of set items given along the way during each season. Over the course of seasonal play, adventurers should be able to attain a full class set that will rotate from season to season.

The Repopulation alpha servers will be going offline sometime today as the team searches for solutions to recent issues with Hero Engine creators, Idea Fabrik. The server will remain offline until some type of resolution is found but the team remains confident that the game will ship in “as timely a fashion as possible”.
General: Final Fantasy VII to be Fully Voiced
Gematsu has translated a recent interview with Final Fantasy VII director Tetsuya Nomura and producer Yoshinori Kitase. In it, the pair revealed that the remake of Final Fantasy VII will be fully voiced, though the actors have yet to be chosen. In addition, mini-games will be included, production has officially started, and the game is focused around player’s affect on the game scenery rather than on an open sandbox environment.
