Pokkén Tournament Global Release Set for March 18

This week has been full of excitement for those eager to get their hands on Bandai Namco Entertainment’s Pokkén Tournament. On top of learning about Braixen, Mewtwo, Garchomp and Chandelure making their way on to the game’s roster, we’ve now received word on exactly when we can expect to get in our first sessions with the game; mark your calendars for March 18, 2016.

Since North American, European and Japanese players will be able to pop the game into their Wii U systems on the same day, we’ll all be starting on equal ground. If you’re looking to be the very best (sorry, I had to) be sure to grab your copy early, hit the lab, and get ready to show the world just how powerful a magical floating light fixture can be.

Star Citizen: Alpha v2.1 Arrives

The Star Citizen site has been updated with a look at the latest version of the alpha. The latest alpha client features new ships, a few put on sale in celebration of v2.1, a new weapon and a more streamlined bug reporting system.

TERA: Better Communication on the Docket for Improvement

TERA’s Senior Producer Matthew Denomme has taken to the official forums to apologize for strident community reaction to the latest producer’s letter that informed players that the next content update was being delayed until March, a significant gap between December’s Brawler update and the next release.

Star Wars: The Old Republic: Eternal Championship Solo Challenges Introduced

The January Star Wars: The Old Republic Producer Live Stream took place on Thursday and the community team has posted a nice wrap report that includes some interesting nuggets of information including the Eternal Championship, a solo challenge of ten encounters that counts towards weekly missions reward progress, can include rare drops and a Recruitment Mission for a new companion named Bowdaar.

TERA: Six Streamer Guilds to Take Part in The Big Brawl Today

TERA has invited six well-known streamers to take part in a special live stream event called The Big Brawl today, Friday, January 15th at 1:00 pm Pacific / 4:00 pm Eastern. Jaynee, Foxdrop, Brofresco, Jessecox, Crendor and Turps have each formed a guild and will be meeting head to head on one of TERA’s mega battlefields to duke it out for supremacy.

Bless: KR Open Beta to Kick Off on January 27th

Despite a rocky start to the testing stage of development, it appears that all is going well and Bless Online is slated to begin the open beta in Korea on January 27th. According to Steparu, players interested in trying out Bless Online can download the client and customize characters prior to the start of the beta.
