UltraDavid Breaks Down Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike Exhibition Between Kuroda and Tominaga
Japan’s biggest yearly Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike tournament, Cooperation Cup, took place over the weekend, but many folks may still be hungry for more high-level action from this classic title. To help satisfy that hunger, David “UltraDavid” Graham is back with a new episode of Delayed Hyper Commentary, providing English match analysis for a lengthy set.
The match in question is a first-to-ten set between Kuroda and Tominaga, two masters of the game. Kuroda needs no introduction, as this 3rd Strike legend is a master of multiple cast members, and has opted to bring out unorthodox characters like Oro in the finals of past tournaments. In this match, however, he sticks to his trademark Q.
Tominaga, on the other hand, is one of the strongest Makoto players in the world. His ability to make great reads and capitalize on them with massive damage output always makes him a dangerous opponent.
Check out the clash between these two titans below and share your thoughts in the comments.

Hakan Slides Over the Competition in Grappler-Centric Ultra Street Fighter IV Combo Video
Just before the turn of the new year, cjbqulix unleashed the power of a handful of Ultra Street Fighter IV’s grapplers in a themed combo video. And while it’s a great video–check it out if you haven’t–viewers were quick to note the lack of a certain degree of class, a degree of class that can only be achieved by including an oiled-up powerhouse with bright red skin and metallic hair.
Those looking for an appearance from the oil tycoon will be please to know that cjbqulix’ newest video features Hakan triumphantly striding on stage, getting slippery and sliding all over his opponents. Just like the previous video, you’ll see plenty of Dhalsim limb abuse and a little fun with Decapre’s Psycho Stream to complement the abundance of oiled attacks.
