Shroud of the Avatar: New Scene, Resolute, to Debut with Release 26

The latest Shroud of the Avatar newsletter has arrived and is, as usual, packed with lots of neat information about the game, including the news that Andy Cortez’s Resolute scene will be sent out with Release 26 set to arrive on January 28th. In the newsletter, new players will follow the Path of Courage along the Resolute story line. To show off some of what can be expected, several new (and beautiful) screens were released.

Super Turbo Master Shogatsu Participates in New Year’s Eve Kumite at GameSpot Versus

Even as we move into 2016 and the era of Street Fighter V, it’s a good idea to look back on where we came from. For many of us, Street Fighter II was our very first fighting game, and it continues to enjoy a lengthy competitive lifespan even today.

As part of their regular New Year’s Eve festivities, the folks at Japanese arcade GameSpot Versus hosted a special Super Street Fighter II Turbo kumite featuring O. Honda grandmaster Shogatsu. The archive below highlights his hour-long gauntlet, the entirety of which is sure to put a smile on the face of even the most coldhearted fighting game veteran.

If you have some free time while recovering from last night, curl up with a blanket and check this out. You won’t be disappointed.
