Capcom Compiles Their Favorite Pro Tour Comebacks

Fighting games have plenty of ways to generate hype, but it’s hard to top the levels of excitement surrounding a solid comeback. With so many tournaments spanning the 2015 season, the Capcom Pro Tour gave players loads of opportunities to show how well they function with their backs against the wall in Ultra Street Fighter IV.

Below, Capcom has compiled five of their favorite comebacks from this year’s Capcom Pro Tour.

If you caught NorCal Regionals last year, you’ll certainly recall bjUNCHAINED’s match against Red Bull’s Bonchan, and won’t be surprised to find that one round from the set did make the cut for this reel. Since that match was a personal favorite of mine, I’d like to encourage everyone to check out the full thing if you’ve not seen it yet or just want to revisit the excitement.

Did your favorites make the cut? Feel free to sound off in the comments.

Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- on PC Receives Third-Party Hitbox Display Program

If there’s one feature that most fighting games tend to lack, it’s the ability to display hitboxes in training mode. While some have begun to implement these tools, it’s not something you tend to see on a regular basis.

That said, having these games released on PC has allowed modders to developer hitbox viewers of their own, the most recent of which arrived this weekend for Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-.

Developed by Altimor, the viewer is less of a mod and more of a separate program that runs alongside the game, injecting code to make the hitboxes viewable. This means that the Guilty Gear itself isn’t touched and runs normally both online and off.

Those interested in trying this out can grab the viewer over at Dustloop, and examples of the program in action have been compiled on Hardedge. Take not that there are a few lingering issues, such as projectiles not having visible hitboxes, but it’s likely we’ll see updates in the future.
