General: Nexon Introduces Riders of Icarus

Nexon has revealed the first information about its forthcoming Riders of Icarus, a forthcoming free-to-play MMO that will allow players participate in aerial combat. Players will be able to fly on mounts as diverse as bears to fire-breathing dragons. Combat will take place on land and in the air.

Wild Terra: First Steps to 3D Transition Complete

Juvty Worlds has sent word that Wild Terra’s first steps into its 3D transformation have been completed. Internal testing has already started, with public testing to begin in February. The move to a 3D world will be completed over time and in phases with a host of new options available when finished.

Runescape: 15th Anniversary Kicks Off with Epic Invitation Delivery

Media types in London were treated to a most epic hand delivery of an invitation to the premier of the upcoming RuneScape documentary. Community and professional cosplayers took to the streets of London dressed as a knight on a unicorn, a herald and a harlequin to place the invitation directly into the hands of the lucky recipients.

Otherland: Latest Update to Reveal New Zone

Drago-Entertainment has announced that Otherland will be offline for approximately three hours beginning at 5:30 am Pacific / 8:30 am Eastern to deploy the latest game update. Included in the forthcoming patch is the new zone called Water Isle. Developers have indicated that players can expect more quests, more rewards and a level cap increase.

Destiny: No Clear Path to Unannounced Destiny 2

General: Tales of Symphonia Arriving on Steam Next Week

Fans of JRPGs will be happy to hear that Namco Bandai is releasing the classic game, Tales of Symphonia, on Steam on February 1st, though some reports are saying February 2nd. The game features eighty hours of game play and real-time battles. Pricing is not yet announced, so you’ll have to wait until February 1st to find out.
