Capcom Picks the Best Timeouts (Seriously!) of Capcom Pro Tour 2015
So long as it’s not happening every match, rounds of Ultra Street Fighter IV (or any fighting game, for that matter) running until the timer ticks out generate a uniquely palpable tension. The commentary shifts, the crowds grows silent, and we may even find ourselves exploding with applause when Elena decides to back dash several times and pop out her healing Ultra.
With this in mind, the folks at Capcom decided to round up the best timeouts of the 2015 Capcom Pro Tour. While not the sort of content we expect to see in a typical highlight reel, the chosen segments–which feature Red Bull’s Bonchan, AVerMedia’s GamerBee, and plenty more–do an excellent job demonstrating just how hype an impending timeout can make a match.
