Tekken 7 Fated Retribution is looking pretty promising so far. In addition to visual and gameplay upgrades, Street Fighter’s Akuma will be making a high-profile cameo in the playable cast with an arsenal of fireballs behind him.
Because he’s drastically different than the rest of the Tekken cast, Bandai Namco Entertainment recently put together a quick guide showing players the various ways in which they can deal with the Akuma’s projectiles. In general, there are three options: sidestepping, jumping, or countering with character-specific attacks.
While the first two are pretty self-explanatory, knowing which attacks to use and when will likely be a big part playing properly against the Street Fighter representative. Luckily, the developers also provided a huge list of moves that beat out Akuma’s fireballs, which includes Kazuya’s Devil Tail, Bryan’s Snake Edge, and Akuma’s own Tatsu.
