Elder Scrolls Online: Everything You Need to Know About Thieves Guild

Patch 2.3.0, aka The Thieves Guild was released on the PTS last week. As long as you own the game you have the opportunity to login to the PTS and give this new DLC a try for FREE. Let me tell you, this expansion is extremely enjoyable. Between doing the Guild Jobs and Heists you’ll always have something to do, not to mention main story quest for the Thieves Guild and the side quests that partake in Hew’s Bane.

Floe Explains the Concept of “Taking Turns” in Fighting Games

Long time fighting game veteran Ari “Floe” Weintraub recently started a brand new tutorial series aimed at helping folks who are already familiar with fighting games and want to take their skills to the next level. While the first episode of his aptly named “Floechart” series focused on how to approach a new fighting game, the second is all about “turns” in fighting games.

The basic concept is learning how to determine when to take your turn and keep pressing buttons on offense, and when to give it up and return to neutral. Concepts like frame traps are things that are applied when trying to extend your turn.

Floe includes specific examples from Ultra Street Fighter IV and Mortal Kombat X, both of which have characters that excel in extending their turns, as well as mechanics that can be used to stop your opponent from continually “taking their turn” and punish them for being too greedy.
