Black Desert Online: BDO Crafting 101

Crafting in Black Desert Online can be an intimidating and complicated affair. In most recent MMORPGs players collect 100 of x and 100 of y then go AFK while they combine materials and come back an hour later at the new crafting cap. This does not hold true for BDO. In BDO crafting is separated into collecting, processing, and finally crafting. A slightly more complicated affair than what some are used to.

ArcheAge: ‘Leap’ to a New Server on February 29 + Black Pegasus Mount

The ArcheAge team has a pair of cool notes for players. The first comes in the announcement that paid character transfers will be opening again on “leap day”, February 29th. For about 2700 Credits, players can purchase a Character Transfer from the Glyph Store. Be sure to head to the ArcheAge site to read the fine print and preparations for leaping to a new server.

Street Fighter V Roundup – Impractical Ken Combos, R. Mika Footsies, and More

We’re still receiving a steady stream of Street Fighter V video content, and we’ve compiled today’s best clips for your consumption. Let’s get started!

It’s only logical that Desk’s combo videos should become more impressive as the life of Street Fighter V goes on, but his most recent tribute to Ken Masters has raised the bar substantially. Perhaps this game’s version of Ken lends itself heavily toward stylish impracticality, perhaps not. Give the video a look and decide for yourself.

It’s fairly common for a fighting game to have a resident punching bag, and just over a week into Street Fighter V, F.A.N.G has found himself filling that role. Thanks to the nature of his poison projectiles, characters performing combos against him can time their attacks so that the falling globs of purple stuff send them back into a neutral state prematurely for combo extensions.

In this next video, Uzumakihero demonstrates how this can help a few different members of the cast achieve some fanciful damage. And, as a bonus, the footage is rounded out with some nasty R. Mika resets.

Sixfortfive keeps the R. Mika train going with this next bit of footage focusing on the proper use of her crouching fierce. When thrown out at the correct range, this normally negative attack can net Mika enough frame advantage to let her link into other buttons. The proper distance to gain this frame advantage is quite specific, so it’ll take practice to get it right. Once you do, however, this button becomes much scarier.

Laura players looking to make some heads spin will be pleased to see we’ve got two new videos dedicated to mixing up opponents. The first video, from HapkidRed, makes use of all Laura’s tools to create mind-boggling situations, while the second video, from DaFeetLee, focuses more on V-Trigger shenanigans.

For more impressive Laura action, don’t miss our previously featured videos from Meno Jazz and vryu123.

GroundedSF brings us our next combo reel, which features Nash chucking plasma and teleporting around his opponent. If you’ve seen some of GroundedSF’s previous work, you’ll know they often focus their combo compilations on something specific, and this video is no different, as everything included involves at least one Sonic Boom.

We wrap things up today with Berial Plays’ tribute to reliable Bison damage. If you’re looking for ideas of when to pop your V-Trigger or when a Knee Press can complete a string, this video will give you the information you need.

Got some stuff of your own to share? Send it our way! Your video could be in our next roundup!
