General: First Round of QuakeCon Pre-Registration Begins

Those looking to get in to this year’s QuakeCon will want to check out the forthcoming pre-registration packages that will become available in a number of different price ranges over the next several weeks. The first round begins today with the BYOC Select-a-Seat with UAC Command Center Seating package for $400 that includes several perks such as fast pass registration, limited reserved seating and more.

Easily Research Street Fighter V’s Hitboxes with These Visual Guides

While players have more than a few options to check out Street Fighter V’s hitboxes in action, most center on the PC version due to the ability to modify the game on that platform. As such, folks who stick with PlayStation 4 are at a bit of a disadvantage.

To help address this, a helpful member of the community named eiSH has created a set of visual guides for every Street Fighter V character, each showing the hit and hurtboxes for the active frames of each cast member’s normal and special moves.

Each graphic is available in a high-resolution JPEG format, which means that players can save them for storage or printing. We’ve included a small example, but be sure to visit DeviantArt for more.

General: Microsoft to Open Up True Cross Platform Game Play

Microsoft has announced that it is working to make XBox and Win 10 games compatible with other consoles and platforms. It is beginning this experiment with Rocket League that will begin with XB1 and PC players facing off against one another and “an open invitation for other networks to join later”.
