Geese Howard, Ryo Sakazaki, and Joe Higashi Return in King of Fighters XIV

It seems like we get a new King of Fighters XIV trailer every week! Earlier this morning, PlayStation dropped yet another teaser for the upcoming title, revealing three returning characters.

While much of the trailer is spent showcasing Geese Howard’s counter ability, there’s also a good deal of Ryo Sakazaki gameplay for those of you curious how the Art of Fighting protagonist has transitioned to the new game. Oh, and, don’t blink or you’ll miss Joe Higashi, though he doesn’t do much here apart from getting blown away by Geese.

Final Fantasy XI: PlayStation 2 & XBox 360 Versions to Go Dark Today

As announced a year ago and periodically since then, both the XBox 360 and PlayStation 2 versions of Final Fantasy XI will end service at 7:00 am Pacific / 10:00 am Eastern today, Thursday, March 31st. PC service for the game will continue and players of the soon-defunct versions of FFXI can convert their account in order to continue playing.

Lee Haskins to fight Ivan Morales on May 14

IBF bantamweight champion Lee Haskins (31-4, 14 KOs) will defend his title against Mexico’s Ivan Morales (29-1, 17 KOs) on May 14 at the Ice Arena in Cardiff, Wales.
Haskins, 32, stopped Japan’s Ryosuke Iwasa in six rounds to win the interim IBF title last June and was elevated to world champion when then titleholder Randy Caballero failed to make weight for their scheduled fight in November.
