Former TERA community manager ‘Tonka’ is starting a new video series about the general games industry and community management in particular. In his first, he qualifies his “rant” (his words) about community management that this is not directed at En Masse, publishers of TERA, but at all game companies. “The customer gets lost in the games industry,” Tonka says, “especially in MMOs.”

Phantasy Star Online 2: When Worlds Collide – FFXIV & PSO2 Cross Promotion Revealed
During a Phantasy Star Online 2 event in Tokyo this past weekend, it was announced that Final Fantasy XIV and Phantasy Star Online 2 will be exchanging a few assets for cross-promotion. FFXIV’s Odin will enter PSO2 this summer as well as Miqo’te outfits. At this point, it remains unrevealed what PSO2 items will appear in FFXIV but it’s a likely bet they will. According to Kotaku, this should be revealed soon.
