General: Side-Scrolling MMO StarBreak Headed to Steam

Crunchy Games has announced that its side-scrolling action MMO called StarBreak will be heading to Steam and will be available beginning May 10th. World of Warcraft: Nostalgia for Vanilla – Will Blizzard Give In?

A lot of talk has been swirling around the MMO-niverse over the past week with Blizzard’s legal action against a private World of Warcraft server that has seen many are clamoring for “official” vanilla WoW servers by way of online petitions, debates on forums and editorials by games media. Fans of vanilla WoW wish to return to what they believe is the ‘best of’ the game while Blizzard prefers to progress the game in its current state.

General: Diablo 2 Remade with Starcraft II Engine

A new video by user “Egod” has popped up on YouTube with alpha footage of Diablo II: Lord of Destruction remade using the Starcraft II tools. The mod will be hosted via Battle.Net and will be free to Starcraft II players. The video shows off alpha footage from “The Curse of Tristram: Destruction’s End” that is set to go into its earliest testing phase later this year.
