Pokkén Tournament players with a penchant for picking up characters inspired by ninjas–myself included–have almost certainly found their home in Sceptile. Though it may look to be a bit of a lumbering beast, the Pokémon brings tools ranging from plantlike kunai and an izuna drop to dash cancelable normals and an oh-so-anime Burst Attack. As one might expect, all of these options combine to allow Sceptile to annoy its opponents with devastating setups.

Thanks to a recent video from Hurrrrrrrgot, those looking to master some of these setups can now do so in quick fashion. Though not every setup presented in the footage guarantees follow-ups, they do put opponents into uncomfortable situations that can be difficult to escape, and often leave their target with lowered defensive stats to boot.

Killer Instinct Season 3 brought a number of improvements to the game: abundant balance changes including entirely new moves for a number of cast members, new characters, the ability to play the game on PC… the list goes on. But the folks behind the game also put a good deal of work into improving the visual aspect of the title. While we were given a look at these improvements before the third season officially went live, still images can only show so much.

With that in mind, Hectorlo put together an extensive video offering side-by-side comparisons of the game’s old and new graphics. These visual enhancements obviously have no direct impact on gameplay, but the new lighting effects definitely improve the experience of beating up friend and foe alike.
