Camelot Unchained: Latest Newsletter Features Information About Gear Stats

The latest Camelot Unchained newsletter has been published that contains a fascinating section and stream video about whether or not gear contains stats and how it affects the power of any given item. The short answer is that weapon and armor do indeed have stats and that there are a variety of qualities for gear that can be affected by such things as the materials from which it is crafted, the skill of the crafter, etc.

NYU Spring Fighter 2016 Streaming Live from Brooklyn, New York

NYU Game Center is welcoming in another spring with Spring Fighter 2016. This year’s event brings together the NYC area for tournaments, in Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Street Fighter V, with the winner of the SFV competition scoring a sweet round trip flight to Evolution 2016.

Each year, the Game Center brings in Seth Killian to interview a legendary player of the fighting game community; past guests included Daigo Umehara, Alex Valle and John Choi. This year’s special guest will be Ricki Ortiz. Catch her sit-down with s-kill at 6 PM EDT (3 PM PDT).

Team Spooky’s Arturo Sanchez will bringing you the live broadcast of the event on Twitch. Check out the stream and enjoy!

Pound 2016 Streaming Live from McLean, Virginia

After a few years away, Pound has returned for its sixth outing. This longstanding Smash event has come to be synonymous with high-level competition in the region, and 2016’s installment is looking to continue that legacy in a big way.

As with other big name Smash events, Pound 2016 will be all about Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, with a little Super Smash Bros. 64 on the side. Players you can expect to see include l|Hungrybox, C9|Mango, PG|Plup, TMP|Westballz, TMP|Axe, CLG|SFAT, HugS, SS|Colbol, COG|Wizzrobe, SPY|Nintendude, VGBC|aMSa, l|Nairo, Dabuz, PG|ESAM, LLL|Mr. R, PG|MVD, THE|Abadango, and 2GG|VoiD, among others.
