Desk Takes the Fight to the Noodle Shop in Street Fighter V Combo Video

Desk’s newest Street Fighter V combo video is an unusual one. Instead of centering around a specific mechanic, character, or other common aspect of the game, Desk decided to hit up the Bustling Side Street stage where he made sure to dress everyone in a noodly hat before getting started.

On top of rocking a ramen hairpiece, Desk makes sure every character brings out their best for the combo exhibition. Much like Desk’s previous work in Street Fighter V–and for much of Street Fighter IV–these combos deal precisely enough damage to land the killing blow. But that’s not all that’s on the line: any action performed by the second player in order to pull off the combo had to be performed in real time, as the noodles only come into play outside of training mode.

If you’d like to make a bowl of noodles part of your character’s wardrobe, check out the video’s description for a breakdown of how to make it happen.

Goliath is a mix of action/adventure/survival games where the player is alone on a distant world and must explore and find food and resources to make it. Emphasis is slightly less on the need to find food and more on finding resources and building tools to survive. Livelock: Players Can Jump Right Into Wall-to-Wall Combat

One of the new games I saw at PAX East this year was Livelock, coming from Tuque Games and published by Perfect World. It’s an action shooter, and action fans can just jump right in to the wall-to-wall combats, but it also has enough cool story behind it to keep players exploring the world and uncovering its secrets.

Crowfall: More Than Our Weekend Lover

Just when I was marking out over Siege Perlious Artcraft hits us with “Throne War” (no not another game in the Total War franchise) but rather a scaled down sampling of a full on Crowfall campaign! “The Throne War will be comprised of three factions with plenty of room to spread out and lay claim to multiple keeps. To capture an enemy’s keep, players will need to utilize siege mechanics that can take place over the course of several days with no break except for maintenance.
