Ibuki to Join Street Fighter V Cast as Next Playable Character

The Street Fighter V top 8 at Combo Breaker 2016 just came to a close, and organizers didn’t give viewers the chance to take a breath before unveiling Capcom’s special announcement promised earlier this week. Since we’re mere days away from the calendar ticking over to June, it came as a surprise to no one that this announcement included details on the newest addition to the Street Fighter V roster. That new addition is none other than Ibuki.

While we can’t yet confirm the sorts of shenanigans she’ll be able to pull off in Street Fighter V, we do know that this fan favorite kunoichi has loads of kunai ready for tossing. She also appears to sport a number of her signature moves including target combos, command dashes, Neckbreaker, and Raida, just to name a few.

But she’s bringing with her a number of new tools as well, including (among many others) a sort of kite-based float, bombs, and what appears to be a counter.

If you want to see her in action, check out the official trailer below!

One of those is Duelyst, a Kickstarter-funded little gem that is so much more than just a CCG.
