Heroes of the Storm: A Year in the Nexus to be Celebrated Next Week

The Heroes of the Storm team is ready to celebrate the MOBA’s first anniversary with some nice boosts and rewards for players who take part in a special birthday event. Beginning June 2nd, players logging into HotS will enjoy an extra +50% to XP games that will continue through June 14th. In addition, those logging in will be treated to a first anniversary portrait.

Vainglory: Lance Becomes Latest Hero Added to the Armory

Vainglory players have a lot to look forward to with the arrival of the v1.18 update. Included in the patch is a new hero character named Lance that, as the name implies, is a fierce wielder of a polearm and shield. In addition to Lance, players will notice newly updated skins, new quests and rewards and the first details of the June 3rd Spring Season Championships (June 10th in the EU).

World of Tanks: Fight for the Motherland Event Scheduled for Console Players

For the first time ever, World of Tanks XBox One, PlayStation 4 and XBox 360 users will be able to partake in a special in-game event called Fight for the Motherland. Successful completion of each operation will see players earn the Motherland Premium Tier VIII Medium tank that is based on the historic T-54 First Prototype. The event will kick off on May 31st.

General: Anima: Gate of Memories ARPG Due Out June 3rd

A new action RPG called Anima: Gate of Memories will be arriving across multiple platforms on June 3rd. Anima: Gate of Memories is based on the RPG books called “Anima: Beyond Fantasy”. The game features third person action combat with exploration as a major feature as well.

Trinium Wars: Final Decision Made – Game to Be F2P

InselGames has sent out a short-and-sweet note to let players know that the final decision on the monetization model for Trinium Wars has been made. The game will be transitioning to the free to play model in the near future. The decision came as a result of what the team felt were too many players holding out on the “buy to play” model, instead preferring to wait until the game adopted a F2P model.

Capcom Pro Tour Rules Discussion and Interview with Xian Featured on The Daily Dot’s Best of III

In the latest episode of Best of III, The Daily Dot eSports squad discusses some recent major events including Toryuken, Stunfest, and Lima Salty 3. They also briefly mention Capcom’s recent rulings regarding sponsorship.

Runescape: Summer Summit to Divine the Future

Jagex will be holding a five hour live stream at 9:00 am Pacific / 12:00 pm Eastern in the Runescape Twitch.tv channel. Called the Summer Summit, the stream will be talking about the future of both Runescape and Old School Runescape as well as the first details about eSports and Chronicle: Runescape Legends.

No Man’s Sky: Ready to Take Off on August 9th

The Playstation Blog has been updated with a new release date for Hello Games’ No Man’s Sky. Originally scheduled for release in June, it was revealed earlier this week that the game would miss the window. With today’s blog post, we now know that No Man’s Sky will be headed our way on August 9th.
