‘Burn to Fight’ with The King of Fighters XIV North American Premium Edition

For those who want to spruce up their purchase of the upcoming King of Figthers XIV, Atlus just announced the Premium Edition of the game, equipped with plenty of additional goodies.

Titled “Burn to Fight,” this version of the PlayStation 4 fighter comes with a 3-disc soundtrack and a large art book, all packaged in a collector’s edition box. This version of the game will set you back $79.99. Here are the full details:

  • SteelBook – The game disc will be encased in a collectible SteelBook emblazoned with the series’ fiery mainstay, Kyo Kusanagi, literally burning to fight.
  • Art book – This 144-page art book will be filled with original character/stage drawings from throughout the series.
  • 3-Disc Soundtrack – Those looking for an audio fix will be able to enjoy a three-disc soundtrack (housed in a gorgeous Mai Shiranui illustrated case) comprised of 60+ electric songs worthy of the greatest fighting tournament in the world.
  • Collector’s Box – All the above items will be packaged in a scorching box adorned with familiar characters.

If you’re looking to get your hands on The King of Fighters XIV before ordering a copy for yourself, there’s an opportunity to play a demo of the game at this weekend’s Combo Breaker. The King of Fighters XIV will be out in North America on August 23, Japan on August 25, and Europe on August 26.

Experience the Stunfest 2016 Hype Again with these Street Fighter V Top 8 Replays

Stunfest 2016, the Capcom Pro Tour Premier event that took place this past weekend in Rennes, France, showcased some of the highest level Street Fighter V competition to date. Notable players from Europe and Asia such as RB|Luffy, Perilous|Packz, RB.BST|Daigo Umehara, and Tokido, among many others, battled their hearts out for CPT points and cash prizes.

The top eight of the tournament consisted of some of the best players from Asia with EG|Momochi and his patented Ken taking first place against RZR|Fuudo’s R. Mika in grand finals, securing his spot at the Capcom Cup in December. We’ve included the winners finals, losers finals, and grand finals matches below. General: Worlds Adrift – Player Created Islands Shine with Promise

Bossa Studios has a nice Thursday treat for fans with a newly released trailer that shows off some unique never-yet-seen geographical features and the remains of ancient civilizations. All of the islands captured in the video are fan-created using the Island Creator Tool provided by the devs. Several of these islands will be included in the final game.

Arc System Works has provided one final trailer to those fans eagerly awaiting the launch of Guilty Gear Xrd -REVELATOR-, this time focusing on the upcoming game’s intense and emotional Story Mode. As a direct sequel to Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-, this game’s storyline picks up right where the prior title left off. Guilty Gear’s anime aesthetic and stylish character design really shines in these cinema scenes.

Guilty Gear Xrd -REVELATOR- launches on May 26, 2016 in Japan, June 7, 2016 in North America, and June 10, 2016 in Europe.

Lucian Bute tests positive for banned substance after draw with Badou Jack

Former super middleweight world champion Lucian Bute (32-3-1, 25 KOs) tested positive for a banned substance following his draw against WBC champion Badou Jack on April 30.
The WBC announced on Thursday afternoon that it was notified by the D.C. Boxing and Wrestling Commission that Bute had tested positive for a banned substance in his postfight anti-doping test.
