Long-time readers may remember that, over a year ago, a particularly impressive Skullgirls combo video was posted. That video relied on the premise of Cerebella being able to counter Squigly’s Tracking Super.

The man behind that video has been hard at work since its release, juggling his time between getting a perfect on the final boss and trying to make the most impressive combos possible. He’s made many wondrously nonsensical CMVs before, and today he’s bringing us another one.

Dragonos’ most recent combo video offering involves using a specific move for a specific character as many times as humanly–and mechanically–possible. The result is an entertaining mashup of characters performing hilarious setups in an effort to squeeze out as many reps as they can.

Announced by both Super Smash Con themselves and over on the EastPointPictures YouTube page, Travis “Samox” Beauchamp has revealed that his last session of filming for the sequel to “The Smash Brothers” documentary will be in August at Super Smash Con. Along with the last batch of filming, Samox will be hosting a panel at the dedicated Super Smash Bros. event, talking about the filming process for both documentaries, as well as the narrative differences between the initial series and the follow-up film.

The film sequel titled “Metagame” focuses on the current era of Melee, mainly following the GOAT, Cloud 9’s Joseph “MaNg0” Marquez, EG|Kevin “PPMD” Nanney and the present number 1 ranked player, Alliance’s Adam “Armada” Lindgren. Metagame is set to release in the Winter of this year, with Samox no doubt confirming a proper date sometime after Super Smash Con, once he has finally captured all the footage needed to make the documentary.

Below is a short teaser for “Metagame,” released at this year’s MAGFest. It gives viewers a flavor of things to come when the full feature releases at the end of 2016.

Despite initially being thought of as the lesser shoto, Ken has turned out to be quite the threat in Street Fighter V. More than a few players have learned how to get consistent results with the character both online and at tournaments.

Those looking to beat Ken can take heart in the fact that Red Bull & Mad Catz’ Daigo Umehara has taken the time to construct a video detailing how he goes about stopping Mr. Masters.

As with Daigo’s previous videos of this nature, this new tutorial focuses primarily on how Ryu approaches the matchup. That said, there are plenty of tips here that can be applied to other characters as well.
