That’s my totally canonical explanation for the preview encounter I ran last week, part of the Stronghold of the Faithful raid wing that goes live today for Guild Wars 2. Unlike the previous boss battles I’d had the opportunity to check out, this was more of a “gauntlet”-style encounter that required the players to continuously push forward and face down an endless wave of enemies while trying to complete their objectives.
Hawken: Headed to PlayStation 4 and XBox One Soon
During last night’s Sony PlayStation event, a new trailer for Hawken was shown to announce that the game would be heading to PlayStation 4 in the near future. According to VG247, after the event, 505 Games confirmed that Hawken would also be released for XBox One.
General: Horizon: Zero Dawn Gameplay & Release Date
During Sony’s PlayStation E3 2016 event, viewers were treated to over eight minutes of gameplay from the forthcoming open world RPG Horizon: Zero Dawn. The video shows Aloy on a hunt, interacting with NPCs and a good look at the interface’s conversation wheel.
Final Fantasy XV: VR Support Revealed During Sony Event
During this evening’s Sony press event, attendees were shown characters all sporting the PlayStation VR headset and a new trailer illustrating what it would look like in game was shown. The VR version of Final Fantasy XV will arrive sometime near or shortly after the release of PlayStation VR on October 13th.
Deontay Wilder to defend WBC belt against Chris Arreola on July 16
Undefeated American Deontay Wilder (36-0, 35 KOs) will defend his WBC heavyweight title against two-time world title challenger Chris Arreola (36-4-1, 31 KOs) on July 16 from at The Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Alabama.
Wilder was set to travel to Russia and defend his title against Alexander Povetkin on May 21, but the challenger failed a drug test and the fight was called off.
Now he will instead face countryman Arreola, who receives his third world title shot following defeats to Bermane…
