SNK Playmore Releases “Team Art of Fighting Trailer” for King of Fighters XIV

SNK Playmore, with Evolution around the corner and less than three months away from the release of their flagship title, is putting a lot of work into the promotion of King of Fighters XIV.  It seems like almost every week at least we are seeing more footage released by the company for the game, and today is no exception.

SNK Playmore just released a trailer showcasing the Art of Fighting Team that will appear in this iteration of this game.  Returning to the arena are Ryo, Robert, and Yuri from the aforementioned SNK fighter from the 90s. On display are their various full meter combos, showing off their full potential within the game system.  It goes without saying that within the King of Fighters system mechanics, they hit like a truck, and should have plenty of strong full punish options.

With the game set to release on August 23rd in North America, we can certainly expect more trailers to whet our palettes between now and then.

Learn to Use Super Smash Bros. for Wii U’s 2-Frame Punish To Deny Opponents a Safe Return to the Stage

Keeping your opponent off the stage is a key to success no matter your Super Smash Bros. game of choice, but when it comes to Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, the Beefy Smash Doods want to bring your attention to an unpopular option: The 2-Frame Punish.

Every time you grab the ledge in Smash 4 there are exactly two frames of vulnerability before invincibility comes into effect. Beefy Smash Doods break down when these frames occur, how to punish them, and what to do to make sure that you don’t fall afoul of a 2-Frame Punish yourself.

This might not be a revelation to everyone, but it’s definitely worth keeping in mind whenever you can get your opponent off stage. After all, it seems that two frames can make all the difference.
