Skullgirls 2nd Encore PC Patch Brings Best-of-Five Option to Quick Matches

The Steam version of Skullgirls 2nd Encore just received a new update patch. This patch made no changes to the game’s balance, but did bring a pleasant change to Quick Match. After finishing a match, players now have the option to play again in a best-of-five set.

There were a few other quality of life changes made in this update, which you can view here. There’s no word on whether this change will make its way to the PS4 version, but with a Lobby patch still on its way for the indie fighter, there’s a chance that console owners could receive this and any other bug fixes between now and then. Major changes are unlikely with Lab Zero working on Indivisible, so this may be one of the final changes made to the game.

Witness Street Fighter V’s Freaky Costume Glitches, and Learn How to Cause Them

desk’s videos tend to fall into two categories: complex high-execution combos and exploits, or: strange stuff. Street Fighter V’s clothing and hair physics can be unpredictable, displaying clipping and unusual movement during the course of even regular play; desk takes it to the next level by highlighting some more extreme examples of physics glitches in action, and also detailing how to replicate them for yourself. It’s like everyone gets their own personal wind tunnel!

desk also recently celebrated the renaming of his YouTube channel to–well, the name he’s already known for, rather than “biffotasty”–by posting an R. Mika Shooting Peach combo that uses her entire EX gauge.

For some more of the stranger side of desk, watch him take on SFV’s Challenge Mode one-handed, or witness all 23 Critical Arts at once.
