Jasen’s Customs TE2+ EZ Mod Board Available Exclusively at Evo 2016
Some time back, we did a story on Jasen’s Customs EZ Mod Board for the Mad Catz Tournament Edition 2. This versatile board allows players an easy, solder-less solution to swap in a Brook Universal Fighting Board onto their TE2s to allow them to work with multiple consoles.
One big issue with the EZ Mod Board is the fact that it doesn’t work with the new TE2+ that Mad Catz launched earlier this year. That’s all about to change, however, as Jasen’s Customs have announced that they will be launching their TE2+ EZ Mod Board at Evo this July.
As with the older EZ Mod Board, this new board allows players to mount a Brook UFB without the need for soldering. If anything, the new board is even easier to install since the player no longer has to configure it via jumper settings.
For those interested in picking this up at Evo, the Jasen’s Customs TE2+ EZ Mod Board will be at the event for only $34.95. Take note that no shops have current plans to carry these new boards after the event, making them exclusive to Evo for now.
