Last week Artcraft gave us a fiery heifer of an update leaving this embedded reporter speculating about the part that often gets tacked on to make launch, the end game! Todd Coleman speaking exclusively with WorthPlaying about virtual worlds and the end game which got this writer wildly speculating about what Crowfall needs to keep us invested in that endgame.

General: E3 2016 – MXM Has a Unique Twist on a Tiring Concept

I need to confess, when NCsoft first showed me MXM last year I was pretty skeptical. While the version we played wasn’t localized, it was evident that NCsoft was trying to push into the free-to-play space of other MOBAs–which at the time seemed like an awful idea to me. But MXM isn’t a MOBA, it smartly borrows some of those ideas, a few more from action RPGs, and then even a sprinkling from MMOs, and turns that all into something that so far feels distinct and different.

WildStar: Group Up During the Nexus with Friends Event

Carbine has published a brief but interesting post on the Wildstar site that reveals how much more fun it is for players to roam the game in groups. During the ‘Nexus with Friends’ event, players who group up and complete multiplayer PvE events can earn double Renown. This boon to Renown gains can be earned in expeditions, adventures and dungeons.

Elder Scrolls Online: A First Look at Update 11: Shadows of the Hist

During last week’s E3, Zenimax’s Matt Firor teased the next DLC for Elder Scrolls Online and today we’ve learned the first information about Update 11: Shadows of the Hist. Most notably, Shadows of the Hist will feature a pair of new dungeons and the ability for players to change race or appearance along with new hairstyles and adornments.
