Maximilian got his hands on Injustice 2 during his trip to E3 this year, and, in a recent upload, he breaks down some of the characters he was able to take for a spin. He gives impressions of newcomers Atrocitus and Supergirl, while also dedicating time to discuss returning characters such as Batman, Superman and Aquaman. Max stresses that these returning characters handle much the same as they did in the game’s previous iteration. Based on his communication with the developers of the game, Max infers that the lack of differentiation in the moves and styles of the old roster hints that there are plans to introduce new character archetypes that will give players enough new study material to focus on.

Besides character info, Max notes that the game has a significantly decreased amount of block stun, which, in his words, makes the game seem a lot less “clunky” than the first Injustice title. He also notes that meter can be used much more than in the last game, which is, for specific reasons covered in his video, something to look forward to.
