Counter Logic Gaming Adds VoiD to Its Super Smash Bros. for Wii U Roster

Counter Logic Gaming has added Super Smash Bros. for Wii U Sheik master James “VoiD” Makekau-Tyson as their latest team member. Many consider VoiD to be one of the best Sheiks in the world, alongside Mr-R and TSM|ZeRo, pushing the Sheik meta forward with his trademark “VoiD” combos which utilize precise perfect pivots, needles, and his quick reactions to deal massive damage. VoiD joins Tyrell “NAKAT” Coleman as CLG’s second Smash 4 player.

VoiD is ranked 2nd on the SoCal Power Ranking behind ZeRo, and 8th on the Panda Global Smash 4 Rankings, making him quite the pick up for CLG. There are still plenty of high-level players who are yet unsigned, so there could be many more high profile signings as the summer of Smash continues.

Crowfall: The Minotaur Myrmidon Revealed

WorthPlaying.com has a great new interview with Crowfall Creative Director J. Todd Coleman all about the Minotaur Myrmidon. The Myrmidon will be entering the pre-alpha “soon” and will join the other six Archetypes already in the game.

Romance Takes On AS|Reynald, Producer Oda Gets His Hands Dirty in This King of Fighters XIV Footage from Wednesday Night Fights

SNK and Level|Up Live brought the King of Fighters XIV to Wednesday Night Fights this week. This gave the Southern California community a chance to get their hands on the latest public build of the game.

For those who missed it, Gato Ray has shared some recordings from the stream. These include an exhibition set between Evo champion Reynald Tacsuan from Arcade Shock and Ramon “Romance” Navarrete.

In addition to these, KOF XIV producer Yasuyuki Oda also took the time to go up against both Romance and Reynald. Can the man behind the game beat some of the series’ brightest stars, or does behind the scenes knowledge not exactly translate into competitive success? Find out in the videos below.
