Tempo Storm Adds Falcon Extraordinaire Johnny “S2J” Kim to Their Smash Roster

Just as Westballz moves onto G2 eSports, an equally electrifying player comes to take his place at Tempo Storm. Johnny “S2J” Kim joins Tempo Storm after his time with Melee It On Me, bringing along with him his trademark Johnny combos where he can take a full stock in a matter of seconds. Being one of the premier Falcons on the scene at the moment and arguably the most enjoyable to watch in tournament, Tempo Storm has picked a winner for making the crowd go wild during Evo 2016.

Johnny himself seems happy to join the team, stating that Tempo Storm is made up of “some of the sickest homies in all of esports” and that he hopes to grow even more as a player during his time with them. With more clinical Falcon Justin “Wizzrobe” Hallett also attending Evo and making some amazing placements at the last few tournaments he has attended, it will be the question of which Falcon style makes it further–the fast paced, explosive play of S2J or the more exacting play of 20GX Falcons like Wizzrobe.

World of Warcraft: Pre-Expansion Patch Dropping July 19th in North America

As expected given the announcement of the end of the current PvP season on July 19th in North America, July 20th in Europe, the World of Warcraft: Legion pre-patch will be dropping that day as well. The pre-patch brings the much-anticipated transmog system, gnome hunters and class updates into the game. A few weeks later, the ramp up to the August 30th Legion expansion release will begin with a demon invasion event and the arrival of the new Demon Hunter class.

Earthlock: Festival of Magic: New Trailer Released & Launch Date Revealed

Snowcastle has sent word that the official launch date for Earthlock: Festival of Magic will be September 1st for XBox One, Steam PC and Mac, with PlayStation 4 and Wii U coming later in 2016. Controller Chaos To Sell Limited Edition Evo 2016 Xbox One, PS4, Pokkén and GameCube Controllers

For those people who do not play on arcade stick, Controller Chaos still has you covered for commemorative controllers to celebrate Evo 2016. Alongside special Evo PS4, Xbox One and GameCube controllers, Controller Chaos will have a very limited selection of HORI Pokkén controllers which will be available to buy from their stall, located next to the official Evo merch booth.

Each of the controllers will be numbered from 1 to 100 for the PS4, Xbox One and GameCube with there only being around 25 Pokkén controllers available from the booth. Do not fret if you cannot make it to Evo as these designs will be available from the official Controller Chaos website sometime in the future. There will also be a wide range of other designs that Evo attendees can pick from, should the nebula design not appeal to them. Controller Chaos have released a short video showing what the PS4 pad looks like, so expect the same design and sheen on all other controllers.
