Pokemon Go: Niantic in Talks with McDonald’s for Sponsored Locations

The New York Times is reporting that Niantic is talks with several businesses to become sponsored Pokemon Go locations such as PokeGyms or PokeStops. Businesses would pay Niantic to be listed on players’ maps as a location where people can pick up more loot for their Pokemon. In return, it is assumed that players flooding in would also opt to purchase items. One of the first companies in talks with Niantic is McDonald’s.

Roman Gonzalez moves up to challenge Carlos Cuadras on September 10
