Star Wars: The Old Republic: The Battle of Odessen to Begin August 11th

Star Wars: The Old Republic players will be taking part in a new chapter in the Knights of the Fallen Empire expansion beginning August 11th and the arrival of the Battle of Odessen. During this epic story, Arcann brings his power to bear against the Outlander’s base of operations and it will take the full Alliance to drive them away.

Pox Nora: 29th Expansion, Planar Disturbances, to Launch July 27th

Pox Nora will be updating for the whopping twenty-ninth time on July 27th with the arrival of Planar Disturbances. The expansion will bring forty nine new runes (cards) into the game that include thirty two new champions and two limited-edition runes alongside twenty new abilities and a quest line that reveals a dark threat.

Capcom And Level Up Announce the Capcom Pro Tour Online Ranking Events

For those who cannot attend Capcom Pro Tour events, Capcom and Level Up have officially revealed the schedule for the online series of Ranking Events. Starting with the first North American event on July 31st, each CPT region will run two 256-man tournaments, with the winner receiving a flight and hotel in order to compete in their respective Regional Finals in November. The top 16 of each Online Ranking Event will receive Ranking Points for their corresponding Leaderboard, just like any other Ranking Event.

Each tournament will be capped at 256 players and must meet Capcom’s strict requirements in order to compete in these tournaments. These restrictions are:

• A Player must have a minimum of 5Mbps upload speed.
• A Player must have a Challonge account
• A Player must reside where PSN and Steam is available.
• A Player must have a PSN or Steam account.
• Only one PSN or Steam account per Player is allowed to compete in the tournament.
• 256 Players (per each Online Event) is the maximum capacity allowed to compete.
• Wireless (WiFi) connections are prohibited.
• Use of macros, turbos, or any peripheral which tampers with standard game functionality is prohibited.

These are the following dates and eligible countries that can compete in each tournament:

• North America – July 31 & October 8 at 10AM Pacific Standard Time (PST)
United States, Canada
• Latin America – August 6 & September 10 at 10AM Brasilia Time (BRT)
Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Panama, Uruguay
• Europe – August 13 & September 3 at 10AM British Summer Time (BST)
Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy,     Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom
• Asia 1 – August 27 at 10AM Singapore Standard Time (SST)
Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam
• Asia 2 – October 22 at 10AM Japan Standard Time (JST)
Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan and South Korea

Registration will happen via the Level Up Challonge page, with signups opening a week before the start of each tournament. You can read all the information on no-shows, connection issues and match judging over on the official Capcom Pro Tour page. The Top 16 of each event will be streamed on Capcom Fighters at 4pm in each respective region.
