Meitenkun Joins Shun’ei, and Tung Fu Rue in This New King of Fighters XIV Team Trailer
SNK and Atlus have an early present for us this week. Instead of having players wait until Thursday, they’ve dropped the latest team trailer today instead.
This trailer focuses on what may be considered the “hero” team for the King of Fighters XIV: Team China. Joining new protagonist Shun’ei and his master, Fatal Fury veteran Tung Fu Rue, is Meitenkun, who fights with an interestingly bizarre style based around tossing a pillow and generally acting sleepy.
The King of Fighters XIV hits PlayStation 4 in North America on August 23, followed by Japan on August 25, and Europe on August 26.

Yoshinori Ono Apologizes for No New Street Fighter V Reveals at Evo 2016 Finals
Many players come to expect big reveals at the close of a major event–and as Evo is as big as they get, some were undoubtedly expecting something new from Capcom for Street Fighter V either before or after the top 8 fought it out. Katsuhiro Harada revealed Bob and Master Raven were bound for Tekken 7: Fated Retribution, complete with gameplay trailers; and while we got the announcement of a forthcoming Evo Japan, and confirmation that Juri will be available before July is over, Yoshinori Ono provided no surprise character(s) or other content before or after the finals.
Ono responded on Twitter to disappointment voiced about the lack of new SFV content as compared to Tekken’s, apologizing to fans and indicating more is to come before and/or at Capcom Cup:
Yeah, thats right.I apologize that I couldnt be in time about new announcement.I'll go ahead preparation untilCapCup
