Watch High Level Korean Street Fighter V Matches with SpiritZero’s Road to TGS Tournament Replay

Over the weekend, SpiritZero, a well known Korean team and group of event organizers, held a qualifier for the Tokyo Game Show Street Fighter V tournament. The winner of the event was to be given a ticket and flight to Tokyo Game Show–and players came out in droves for the chance.

While the event has come and gone–and the winner has already been declared to be Save, the top Dhalsim in Korea–the replay itself is well worth the watch. Featured are some of the best Korean names–especially ones who have received exposure from Street Fighter V Crash–including M. Lizard, Xyzzy, NeoTheSinger (also known as Weirdo Neo in America), Jun8, 200won, Shinji840, and Tekken’s Nin (registered as Parkhyunkyu in the bracket). Add in a dash of Team Razer’s Infiltration doing commentary in his native tongue, and you have quite the event to watch.

ZeRo Continues His New Super Smash Bros. for Wii U Tier List into the Mid and Upper Tiers

Team SoloMid’s ZeRo recently restarted his personal Super Smash Bros. for Wii U 1.1.6 patch tier list, beginning again from the bottom up. This time, he’s been quick to continue: as you can see in the videos below, he has expanded the list upward into mid and upper tiers, listing where he feels–in his own personal experience and observation–each fighter falls in terms of strength.

FTG-Reversal Catalogs Guilty Gear Xrd -REVELATOR- Tweets and Videos for Every Character

Looking for the very latest tech in Guilty Gear Xrd -REVELATOR-? It’s hard to keep track of everything out there, as many people share videos across YouTube, Twitter, and other means. Now, there’s a website that has established hashtags for every character in the game and readily catalogs tweets and videos for easy viewing. The Japanese website FTG-Reversal is a portal to Guilty Gear knowledge.

The splash page has icons for every current character in the franchise; clicking those leads to a channel view that has tweets with the designated character’s hashtag. The list of hashtags is displayed on the left. Until recently, those hashtags were only in Japanese, but now, the website functions with English letterings, such as #GGXrd_SO for Sol Badguy or #GGXrd_KY for Ky Kiske. This makes it easier for players around the world to get sharing and pooling content together.

Clicking “Videos” at the top takes you to a section that has uploaded videos on Nico Nico, often listing what characters played in what match. Here’s a quick guide to what character is what in Katakana:

Watch “The Natural” at Work in This Super Smash Bros. for Wii U Fox Combo Video, by Sodrek and The Beefy Smash Doods

Teaming up with one of Europe’s best players, The Beefy Smash Doods have released a brand new combo video, dedicated to pM|Sodrek’s Fox. Titled “The Natural,” this combo video shows off Sodrek’s top quality Fox play, with his great usage of footstools both on and off stage, to either extend a combo or dunk someone into the abyss. Some of his conversions are out of this world, reading opponents’ air dodges to extend a combo with uptilts or simply following an opponent’s DI to kill them with a well-placed up air. There are even a few shinespikes thrown in the mix, alongside some of these lighting-fast combos.

Watching his Fox in motion, it’s no surprise that Team Prismatic signed him just ahead of the Rio eGames Showcase. If Sodrek and other Foxes keep innovating on the character at this pace, Smash 4 may also be consumed by 20XX. Keep an eye out for Sodrek at Syndicate this September, where you might see him creating some more clips for his new combo showcase.
