League of Legends: Riot Games Latest Developer to Take On Bot Makers

Riot Games is the latest in a recent series of developers taking on the makers of bots used to cheat in game. Riot has filed suit against LeagueSharp, a third party program for League of Legends that automates game play. According to Kotaku, Riot attempted an out of court settlement, but LeagueSharp representatives never responded to the outreach.

Star Trek Online: Developer Walkthrough Shows Off Console Version

A new developer diary has been released to show off the upcoming console version of Star Trek Online. In the video, Cryptic devs take viewers on a walk through the upgrades and control systems that will be available to both PlayStation 4 and XBox One users when the console versions go live in the near future. Meet Fighters from Out of This World in King of Fighters XIV’s Latest Team Trailer

The most interesting addition to the King of Fighters XIV has to be characters from SNK franchises that traditionally wouldn’t have fit into the series’s timeline; it’s three such characters that are the focus of the game’s latest team trailer.

Nakoruru from Samurai Shodown, Mui Mui from Dragon Gal, and Love Heart from Sky Love strut their stuff in this new trailer, forming Team Another World. While the first two can simply be explained as having time-traveled from the past, Love Heart is unique in that she seems to come from a totally different world–one straight out of a fantasy JRPG like Skies of Arcadia or Legend of Heroes VI. This is reflected in her swashbuckling fighting style where she wields an energy sword against her foes.

The King of Fighters XIV will hit PlayStation 4 on August 23 in North America, August 25 in Japan, and August 26 in Europe.

Learn a Little More about KeroKeroppi’s Rise from Smash Upstart to One of 64’s Best

The original Super Smash Bros. might not have been at Evo 2016, but that doesn’t mean it’s not alive and kicking. In fact, Smash 64 at Super Smash Con this year will be the biggest and most competitive tournament in 64’s illustrious history.

One of the major threats at that tournament will be Joey “KeroKeroppi” Speziale, generally considered to be the second-best Smash 64 player in the United States.

He didn’t start off a killer, though–find out a little about the history of one of 64’s toughest competitors in Insert Smash, a short documentary about the man who once told Isai that nothing about his play intimidated him.
