Explore the Mysteries of Street Fighter V’s “Double Projectiles” in desk’s New Video
In this new video, desk discusses an interesting property that Street Fighter V shares with some specific versions of Super Street Fighter II: the ability to add a second projectile while there’s another already active. Aside from under certain conditions–like Guile’s V-trigger, or Ibuki’s multiple kunai–this isn’t something you’re able to do in the Street Fighter series.
Basically, when a projectile moves offscreen in Street Fighter V, it seems to lose its hitbox and other properties, even if the action shifts the viewable area of the stage back to where the projectile is still visible. Once the original projectile has been “nullified” this way, it’s possible to throw out another one–causing multiple projectiles to be visible at once, even if only one has a hitbox. Interestingly, Ibuki’s bomb is an exception and stays active, even if offscreen.
For more SFV strangeness from desk, have a look at how to perform “impossible” combos.

Fans Rally Behind a Petition for English Dubbing in BlazBlue: Central Fiction
The saga of English dubbing for BlazBlue: Central Fiction continues. Last week, Aksys Games tweeted a few statements regarding the localization, explaining that including English dubbing would mean potentially delaying the game’s impending holiday release by six to eight months. While fans have sent many tweets at both Arc System Works and Aksys Games’ accounts, a formal petition popped up on Change.org.
@aksysgames 2. An English dub is possible, but sometimes devs need extra convincing. Petitions, fan pages, etc all help. Fan communities

“Support the dub for BlazBlue: Central Fiction!” garnered close to 2,000 signatures over the weekend. The post summarizes some fan sentiments about the issue and includes statements from Ragna’s voice actor, Patrick Seitz, who revealed a stark lack of communication from the companies.
Aksys Games has pointed to Arc System Works as the main decision maker. They also stated that even if there’s enough interest in the game, the release won’t be delayed, but the dub can be added as DLC.
Seitz also wrote a follow-up Facebook post, thanking fans for the support and endorsing the petition.
Of course, even if the petition reaches its goal, that does not guarantee that Arc System Works will take any action–but it will demonstrate community interest.

Black Desert Online – Do You Enjoy Horse Breeding
Earlier in the week there was a Reddit post where the author discussed finally obtaining a Tier 8 Horse. Named Diablo, the community was rightly pleased for the individual. Tier 8 horses are bloody hard to come by. Although I was glad the player obtained such a horse, my first thought was, “I can’t be arsed!” rather than, “How?”

Five Things MMO Gamers Should Stop Complaining About
We whine a lot. Not just as gamers, or MMO gamers, but as human beings in the western civilized world, we complain about anything we perceive as unfair or unjust or in any way lopsided. I don’t know why this is, I’m no psychologist. But I do know that there are at least five things we MMO gamers need to just get over already. At the risk of being clich, we really do beat too many dead horses.
