Spread Juri’s Sadism into Street Fighter V’s Survival Mode with VesperArcade’s Guide

As game modes go, Street Fighter V’s Survival Mode certainly has a sadistic streak–variable AI, no checkpoints, randomized health recovery–so who better to take it on than violence-loving Juri? VesperArcade has previously offered some playthrough footage of Juri (among others) on SFV’s Hard Survival Mode; in the video below he offers specific advice for what approach you’ll need to dominate this harsh CPU gauntlet, if you can.

VesperArcade has also provided Hard-level Survival Mode guides for Alex, Balrog, and Ibuki.

Classic SNK Title “The Last Blade” Released on Steam

As a purveyor of old fighting games, it is always a joy to find old titles being released into modern media. While I understand the desire to collect games in their original formats, some people are more concerned with just playing these titles, regardless of the platform–so any attempt by companies to keep classics alive for another generation is a great thing.

SNK continues to make sure the titles that paved the way for their powerhouse The King of Fighters series are available today, by releasing The Last Blade onto Steam. This game, considered a spiritual successor to Samurai Shodown, has seen it and its sequel receive a cult following within the FGC. This actually follows SNK releasing said sequel onto PlayStation 4 and PS Vita in May of last year. Available for the price of $9.99, it is worth picking up to pad your Steam fighting game collection, and maybe even find a new classic game to love.

Mr. Krabs Adds Some Nautical Nonsense to Super Smash Bros. for Wii U in This Mod Showcase

When it comes to the denizens of the deep, there is one who is spoken of in hushed tones. A dark legend, feared by all who have encountered him.

Smash 4 modding has come a long way recently, and Mr. Krabs making an appearance in place of Wario is one of the latest breakthroughs in terms of vertex mods. It’s certainly something to see Spongebob’s money-hungry boss charge around the battlefield–or Final Destination, if that’s more to your tastes–and he seems to be a remarkably good fit over Wario. Check out the montage below, and enjoy seeing a crab farting on a Pokemon’s head. If you want to add him to your own game, you can find the skin in the description of the video.
